Tourism revenue up

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached 40.6 million Euro in February 2008, compared to 38.5 million Euro in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording an increase of 5.5 percent, the Cypriot Statistical Service said on March 24. For the period January to February, 2008, revenue from tourism is estimated at 75.9 million Euro, compared to 72.2 million Euro in the corresponding period of 2007, recording an increase of 5.2 percent.
