We are recruiting! - Sales Executive

Thomson OPI specializes in overseas property investment. We operate in a limited number of markets at any one time and target our products to suit private as opposed to commercial investors. We are currently recruiting for the position of Sales Executive. We have five positions available as part of our expansion programme. Some positions can be part-time and some full time.

The role

Forming an integral part of the team, the role of Sales Executive will be key to the continued expansion of the business. Demanding targets will ensure that the Sales Executive will be continually challenged. Thomson OPI will deliver full training and will also provide comprehensive support information to the successful applicants. The role will primarily be in generating new business and converting leads (either provided by Thomson OPI or self generated by the Sales Executive) into successful investments for clients and generating commission income for the business. A secondary but equally challenging role will be to suggest methods of improving service levels to clients either in an after-sales environment or during the sales process itself.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will probably be involved in sales already, (preferably in property and optimally in overseas property). Further education in either a financial or economic discipline will be a significant advantage. The ability to communicate at all levels, in a clear concise manner, is an absolute prerequisite. Ideally, the candidate will have his/her own network of potential investors and will be able to work with these clients in the first instance.

Remuneration

The position will be remunerated on a commission only basis. Given that commissions can take some time to be paid in full, we have devised the means to allow interim payments to ease cash flow issues for Executives. These payments will be triggered when a client passes through our acceptance criteria for purchase. This period can be as little as 1 week. We would envisage an OTE figure being in the region of £60,000. To the determined Sales Executive this figure could comfortably double!
